Works Ministry on flood clean-up mission


The Works Ministry coordinated a four-day flood clean-up mission in Temerloh, Pahang from January 7.

The mission drew more than 400 volunteers from the ministry’s various agencies such as the Public Works department, the Malaysian Construction Industry Development Board, the Malaysian Highway Authority as well as Kelab Puspanita KKR.


Volunteers from other agencies such as Maju Expressway Bhd, the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry and Malaysian Malay Contractors Association joined in the work to clean-up houses, schools and business premises damaged by the worst flooding to hit the country in decades.
