The enhanced trendy city hatchback boasts a range of improved dynamics and visuals to boost its competitive edge in its segment.
The new Picanto’s front and rear bumpers have been redesigned to give the car a bolder appearance. Kia’s trademark ‘tiger-nose’ grille has also been tweaked.
The inclusion of a new 14-inch allow wheel design and an optional sports pack to the Picanto, which comes in three- and five-door variants, will expand buyers’ options.
On-board luxury comes in the form of chrome accents which wraps the driver’s instrument binnacle dashboard air vents, as well as a new fabric upholstery pattern which keeps the Picanto looking fresh.
A modernised façade is also fitted onto the car’s audio system.
The updated Kia model now comes with three interior colour packs: Red Pack (features black artificial leather and red cloth seats as well as glossy red and black door panel inserts), Yellow Pack (features black artificial leather and cloth seat upholstery with yellow stitching, as well as a bright yellow dashboard and steering wheel trim) and the premium Brown Pack (offers classy brown artificial leather seats, brown door trim and glossy piano black dashboard trim).
Kia has also modified the Picanto’s 1.0-litre MPI engine to comply with Europe’s stringent Euro-6 emission standards,
This model will go on sale across Europe by end-March 2015 and will be packaged with Kia’s seven-year (or 150,000km) warranty.
