Petronas launches television commercial and coffee break campaign

PETRONAS unveiled its much anticipated festive campaign with a fresh television commercial for Chinese New Year entitled ‘Rubber Boy’ today.

‘Rubber Boy’ tells a story of Ah Hock who learnt the values of sacrifice, gratitude and acceptance growing up in a rubber plantation by witnessing his mother’s devotion in providing for the family.

“Petronas is proud to be able to bring this warm, enduring story that resonates in the hearts of all Malaysians. We intend to send out a strong message to count your blessings and reminding everyone about the significance of being Malaysian and appreciating our common values,” said Zahariah Abdul Rahman, Petronas Senior General Manager of Group Startegic
Communications.

Also launched at the event by Petronas Dagangan Berhad was its flagship road safety programme, Petronas Coffee Break where 880,000 cups of freshly brewed coffee will be offered at 142 participating Petronas stations nationwide on Feb 6-7, 2016 and Feb 13-14, 2016.

Customers will also recieve a 20 percent discount on brake fluids when they service their vehicles at selected Petronas LubeXperts outlets on weekends from Jan 16, 2016 to Feb 7, 2016.
