Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) has introduced the Nissan X-Trail Tuned by Impul, a sporty new variant that “offers customers the choice and chance to live out their motorsport enthusiasm” while they send the kids to school and do a grocery run.
The Impul package adds a sporty new look to the X-Trail with mostly cosmetic bits. We say “mostly” because like all the other Tuned by Impul models before it, a set of Sports Springs lowers the SUV by 30mm for more agile handling.
Making up the rest of the kit are new front and rear bumper spilers, side skirts, all-new 18-inch Impul Aura SX-50 alloy wheels with a chrome bronze and gloss black finish. Door visors and LED stainless steel kick plate complete the package.
“We’re pleased to introduce this bold take on the ever popular Nissan X-Trail. The X-Trail has a strong following in Malaysia and we believe that adding the Impul touch to the X-Trail not only heightens its appearance and driving dynamics, but this new look will also appeal to those wanting a sporty edge to their vehicle,” said Tan Keng Meng, ETCM director of marketing and product planning.
The current Tuned by Impul stable under ETCM comprises the X-Gear, Grand Livina, and Sylphy. Impul is a Nissan-dedicated tuning company from Japan with a rich motorsports heritage and complements aesthetic and performance parts via its team of engineers.
Both variants of the X-Trail can be had with the Impul treatment and are priced at RM172,516.42 for the 2.5L 4WD Premium Impul and RM149,715.05 for the 2.0L 2WD Premium Impul.
Additionally, the Impul components can be purchased individually as well for current X-Trail owners that want to inject some motorsports into their life and upgrade their SUV.
