THE Persona Special Edition (SE) was launched by Proton in Kuala Lumpur recently featuring new enhancements with distinctive design.
It looks more elegant and exclusive, thanks to comprehensive re-styling on both the car's interior and exterior.
The Persona SE has been positioned to provide value-for-money while giving drivers the luxury of comfort with premium accessories.
The enhancements that separate the Persona SE from the Persona are luxurious and comfortable leather seats with fine trimmings and detailings that extend to its steering wheel, gear knob and door panels, a GPS system with an extra-large screen, auto cruise, a new meter combi-finishing with laser-red backlight for good readability, a new bodykit that gives a sporty and premium look, black bezel headlamps, and silver matte door handles.
Proton also offers discerning buyers two new exclusive colours, brilliant red and blue haze, guaranteed to create 'a statement' for its driver.
Proton Holdings Bhd managing director Datuk Haji Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir said: "The Persona SE is another testament to our philosophy of producing the right car for the right market at the right price. It has been positioned to give high value to the Persona variant with improvements made to add comfort and luxury to the car.
"These enhancements are made in response to feedback from buyers of the Persona. Product enhancements are a continuous process in Proton to offer more value to our customers. The launch of the new Persona SE is aimed to excite new buyers and make them view the car as their first choice."
Proton has kept the on-the-road (OTR) price of the Persona SE under RM60,000 despite its comprehensive enhancements which makes it very competitive against other models in the same category in the market.
The Persona 1.6AT (IAFM) SE Metallic is priced at RM59,800 (OTR with insurance).
