HSZNA Vehicles Sdn Bhd, under Hong Seng Group of Companies will be introducing their latest product, the Yangtse WG6600CQ4.

The shuttle van is equipped with exceptional performance, up-to-the-trend styling while being economical and reliable, thus being yet another competitive entry in the segment.

Hong Seng Group of Companies already started its business ventures more than four decades ago, although the founder of Hong Seng, late Paul Teoh Teng Seng has commenced business as an importer and exporter of new and used engines a little earlier, back in 1965.

Madam Ong Ah Hua continue to pursue the vision of her late husband and she is currently the chairlady of Hong Seng Group of Companies.

Four decades later, Hong Seng has become the flagship of a group of companies that involves mainly Japanese commercial trucks, diesel generators, marine gearbox and agriculture vehicles, just to name a few.

The group is currently involved in importing from various reputable suppliers from throughout the world and after numerous processes of reengineering, remanufacturing and assembling, the final products are exported to neighbouring countries as well as marketed locally.

According to Mr Denis Hg, the assistant marketing manager from Hong Seng Motor Sdn Bhd, the van is available in two variants, 15-seater (2+3+3+3+4 configuration) WG6540CQ4 and 18-seater (2+3+3+3+3+4 configuration) WG6600CQ4, but currently they are only offering the latter one for Malaysian market.

Both WG6540CQ4 and WG6600CQ4 basically have the same front and rear fascias, but the only difference in terms of dimension is their length, in which the 6070 mm WG6600CQ4 is 610 mm longer than WG6540CQ4.

Powered by a DK5 3-litre turbocharged diesel engine that produces 150-bhp and 360 Nm of torque, the WG6600CQ4 has enough urge to carry out the duty of a minibus.

The inline 4-cylinder diesel engine is also the most powerful engine in the range and Euro3 compliance too and is paired to 5-speed manual gearbox.

The interior of the van features a thought-out functionality and excellent riding comfort and the in-dash gear lever position helps ergonomic driving purpose.

Apart from that, the steering has an adjustable column and is mechanical hydraulic power-assisted, therefore maneuvering the van in a dense compound would not require too much effort.

Suspension is independent double wishbone up front and semi-eliptical leaf spring at the rear, therefore compromises well onto comfort and heavy duty terms.
