Hyundai's Brazil only HB20 series model line-up is now complete with the introduction of the HB20S sedan. The name "HB" stands for Hyundai Brasil, while the number "20" is the Hyundai’s characterization for vehicles assembled on small or compact vehicle platforms.
After five years of joint development between Hyundai's Kia and Brazilian engineers, HB20S sedan will join the HB20X crossover and HB20 hatchback at Hyundai Motor Brasil's plant in Piracicaba, Brazil.
Engine options include a 1.1 litre and 1.6 litre petrol engines. Both engines are from the Kappa family and are bio-ethanol fuel compatible.
Sales will begin in April.
