  Proton MD said that proton makes 700 car in a day. So it's about 250,000++ cars a year. Proton car sold in 2011 was about 12,452 units. So where the other 242,500++ units of proton car went to?

    Proton sold 158,657 for 2011, excluding exports and CKD packs.

    Like all manufacturers, production quota is continuously adjusted according to market demand.

    You are right, our tabulations missed out the Toyota Altis which sold 67 units in December 2011, putting it just ahead of the Honda Civic.

    Supply of the Toyota Altis was affected by the flood as well.

    We apologise for the mistake and will be amending it shortly.

  Impossible Ford sold <47 units of Fiesta in December.
  On the same topic, there is Peugeot 308?
  Tak kan Peugeot also sold 100 units in Dec.

  If we compared the data presented in this 'article' with the same sale figure (December 2011) published by their competitor, we will see the 'truth' about the accuracy of this article's data.

  The writer of this 'article' should have full access to MAA report but make a huge mess of it.
